Today we wanted to share this gorgeous family and their sweet dog “Baby”. We were so happy when they asked if we allow dogs to come to the shoots. Of course we do! We adore animals. We had a beautiful day for their shoot back in the Fall (yes, we are still posting shoots from the fall!) The kids were a lot of fun and it’s safe to say that the camera loves them!

This family has been a joy to photograph for quite a few years now. We have loved watching the children grow! They are always so much fun and full of love. Little miss “M” was having so much fun being a little model for us. She made it hard to narrow down her images!

Layla is such a beautiful girl inside and out! We couldn’t believe she was just turning 3 when we did her photos! So much personality and spunk in such a small package! She gave us lots of laughs during her shoot and it’s safe to say there was never a dull moment. We are happy to have her sweet smile as our “Featured Face” in our studio. Great job Layla!

We were excited to shoot the Morgan family at our new location! The kids loved the outdoors and we even had some visits from different critters that day! What a nice relaxing time to just capture some great moments between a loving family.

There is just something about this photo that I love…it was a definite keeper for us!

We were so happy when the Davis family called us to photograph their family in honor of their youngest boy’s first year! We had the pleasure of shooting his newborn photos. We cannot believe a year has come and gone so quickly! The weather was gorgeous and it was a perfect evening. So much energy in a shoot! We had a blast!

Who needs to bribe with candy when you have the favorite boots?? Love it!

Rain, Rain go away… April Showers bring May flowers. These two familiar sayings have been running through my mind constantly this month! While we love what Spring brings and how it means new life…we are waiting for Summer. We are ready for warm sunny weather, cookouts, family outings and the beach! We were excited to get out on a gorgeous day and photograph this beautiful young lady.

Sure we had our fights – usually him wrestling me to the floor or putting me in a choke hold – but I knew he was always looking out for me, Photographing adorable little Lauren, and her big brother, Matthew, brought me back to simpler days, when things may not have always gone my way…but my brother always had my back.

We’ve been friends with this lovely family since we began Luminosity Photography & Design. They have come to us for baby, toddler and family sessions and we’ve been able to watch these children grow. It’s hard to believe how quickly time passes, but each time a client returns to us, we see the importance to taking in each moment. And more importantly, capturing the moments on film.

We recently met a wonderful family of seven, The Matthews. They have four boys and one girl. There was a lot of energy at this shoot. And with all the excitement, mom and dad were able to stay calm, cool and collected. While the kids explored we followed along and snapped a couple of shots of them doing what they do best…being kids. Each of them had a personality all their own and they were adorable. What a fun time we had with them!

We were blessed to visit some dear friends while singing in their state of MS. Tammy and I actually drove there from Grand Rapids due to her intense ear infection. She was not able to fly so we rented a car and met the rest of the group in MS where we would be singing for the weekend. We love getting to spend time with this family! We couldn’t leave town without a photoshoot of our little friends! We had lots of great photos it was difficult to narrow them down! Deuce and Annlee have such unique personalities and there’s just something about a little one with a southern accent! We love it!
