We’ve been friends with this lovely family since we began Luminosity Photography & Design. They have come to us for baby, toddler and family sessions and we’ve been able to watch these children grow. It’s hard to believe how quickly time passes, but each time a client returns to us, we see the importance to taking in each moment. And more importantly, capturing the moments on film.

We recently met a wonderful family of seven, The Matthews. They have four boys and one girl. There was a lot of energy at this shoot. And with all the excitement, mom and dad were able to stay calm, cool and collected. While the kids explored we followed along and snapped a couple of shots of them doing what they do best…being kids. Each of them had a personality all their own and they were adorable. What a fun time we had with them!

We were blessed to visit some dear friends while singing in their state of MS. Tammy and I actually drove there from Grand Rapids due to her intense ear infection. She was not able to fly so we rented a car and met the rest of the group in MS where we would be singing for the weekend. We love getting to spend time with this family! We couldn’t leave town without a photoshoot of our little friends! We had lots of great photos it was difficult to narrow them down! Deuce and Annlee have such unique personalities and there’s just something about a little one with a southern accent! We love it!

We had a blast playing with this sweet boy! He was full of enery and kept us on our toes but he was a great little model for the camera! We were happy to have just enough sunshine for this shoot. The rain came shortly after! You’d never know it was supposed to rain all day by these photos. Thanks Ryan for coming to play with us and sharing your toys!

We have been very busy making many changes here at Luminosity! These are exciting times for us! The beautiful sun has been a blessing this week. As I was driving home two days ago I was thanking God for the amazing weather and thinking of my youngest, “Bella”. She is set to have eye surgery next Wednesday. Although I know she will be just fine and God will protect her, as her mother I am dreading it! So I figured I could not let this lovely sunshine get away without snapping some photos of her. I want to share them with you! So please say a prayer for Ella next week! ~Stephanie

We are so excited about this new year and all that is ahead of us! God has so richly blessed us with this opportunity and we are so grateful for each and every moment! We are in the process of many changes and we can’t wait until they all unfold! We have a new logo for Luminosity and if you keep your eye out you will see our blogsite transforming as well!

We also are in the process of moving into a new studio! We cannot wait until it is all finished and we can share it with you all. You can be sure there will be photos right here for all to see but you will have to come and visit us to see it in person! Keep checking back for updates.

Like we said, we are in the process of it all so for now we will have to share these adorable photos of Tammy’s youngest Sophie. She is always ready for the camera!

This is always our busiest time of year as I’m sure it is for many of you! We have enjoyed photographing some of our long time clients and friends. So we are a day late… but we wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! I have been filled with so much joy the past few days and am overwhelmed with how good God is to me and my family! I wanted to share some images of two of the sweetest blessings I have been given! When I think of how grateful I am for these girls I can’t help but get a big smile on my face! ~Stephanie

We spent the day at Mama & Papa’s house. They love to play in their back yard. Ella was playing with the special “tookey” they made for Thanksgiving.
